UNP Working Committee convened today(13) once again under the patronage of Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Sirikotha Party Headquarters.At the meeting it was assured that the United National Party had no objection with regard to hosting the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Sri Lanka this November. However it was stressed that the UNP opposes the increase in the price of goods carried out by the government on the pretext of preparation work for the summit.
