The UNP members have handed over a bill to her regarding the enactment of the 17th Constitutional amendment to make all the state institutions independent.
Mr. Wickramasinghe, party Secy MP Tissa Attanayake, MP Karu Jayasuriya, MP Ravi Karunanayake, UNP Media chief MP Mangala Samaraweera, Mr. Wijayadasa Rajapaksa, Mr. Shrinath Perera and a few more senior members of the party took part in the event.
Ms. Pillai had stated that she is going to mention everything she has to say regarding her 5 day visit in the North and East discussing with many organizations and personal, at the press conference which will be held tomorrow (31).
